Overview
 The Gaels didn't miss a beat when former assistant Michelle Jacoby took over as head coach this season. St. Mary's posted its fourth consecutive 20-victory season. Opponents got a double dose of the Dosty twins this season. Jermisha and Jerkisha Dosty both averaged double figures in scoring. Guard Corrie Mizusawa won Rookie of the Year honors.Player to Watch
Junior forward Jermisha Dosty, selected the WCC Player of the Year, already has shined in the postseason, and was selected the Most Valuable Player in the WCC tournament. In the championship game against Loyola-Marymount, she scored nine points and grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds. Her rebound total matched the tournament single-game record, and her 33 rebounds in three games of tournament play set a new conference record.
