Overview
TCU won the WAC championship (and reached the tournament title game for the first time in school history) with a big boost from three of the top five 3-point shooters in the conference. Kati Safaritova, Jill Sutton and Amy Porter lead a balanced attack that knocks down seven 3-pointers per game. Overall, the team shoots 40.3 percent from beyond the arc. Tricia Payne averages 11 points.Player to Watch Janice Thomas, a 6-foot senior forward, leads the Horned Frogs in rebounding, and also comes up big as a shot blocker.
