Quickness on the perimeter, a solid post player and a tenacious defense make Texas Tech a dangerous tournament team. Coach Marsha Sharp's Lady Raiders boast the Big 12's best defense, allowing just 58 points per game this season. Guard Katrisa O'Neal is a top-notch defender who also averages 10 points, while newcomer Jia Perkins leads the team in assists and scores 13 points per game. Inside, forward Plenette Pierson is a threat to score and rebound.
