Tulane Green Wave
Road to the Final Four.............................................................................................
Overview Coach Lisa Stockton's Green Wave swamped the opposition in the league this season with a stifling defense. Tulane's opponents shot just 36 percent from the field and 27 percent from 3-point range. Defense was the key in the C-USA tournament, as Tulane held held Cincinnati to just 50 points in title game. The Green Wave also have good size with the top three shot blockers in the conference. Point Guard Sarah Goree guides the ship and is a competent 3-point shooter.Player to WatchJanell Burse, a 6-foot-5 senior, blocks two shots a game, averages a double-double and shoots 60 percent from the floor.
