Xavier Musketeers
Road to the Final Four.............................................................................................
Overview The Musketeers are a team to watch due to their size, experience and an abundance of weapons. Inside is the 6-foot-3 senior combo of Taru Tuukkanen and Jennifer Phillips, who combine for 36 points and 17 rebounds per game. Outside, Reeta Piipari has led the nation in assists most of the season and Nicole Levandusky is one of the most dangerous 3-point shooters in the tournament. This is Xavier's best shot at the Sweet 16 and beyond. So good, in fact, that last year's A-10 Rookie of the Year, Amy Waugh, gave up her redshirt and is back in action. She has remarkably overcome a preseason Achilles injury and returned late in the season to play.Player to WatchJennifer Phillips, the Atlantic 10 Player of the Year, is hard to overlook. Phillips earned the top conference honors on the strength of her 62.1 percent field-goal shooting, which ranks fifth nationally. She averages 16.4 points and 6.1 rebounds. Roster NO.
