Overview
A 20-win season and a winning streak almost as long gets the Bengals into the NCAA Tournament as the Big Sky Conference tournament champs. Coach Ardie McInelly's club has the best defense in the conference, giving up just 56 points per game and allowing opponents to shoot just 36 percent from the field. Forwards Mandi Carver and Ashley Toner score in double figures, but Jennifer Griffin, a 5-foot-5 junior point guard, runs the show.

Player to Watch
Forward Mandi Carver, a 6-2 junior, has tallied 34 career double-doubles, which ties for the school record. Carver, voted the Big Sky MVP, is averaging 14.3 points and 10.1 rebounds per game, and ranked No. 1 in rebounding and second in scoring in the conference statistics. She also ranked No. 2 in the league in blocks, and her 121 career blocks ranks third in Idaho State history.
