Arizona State Sun Devils
Road to the Final Four.............................................................................................
Overview It's the start of something special in more ways than one for ASU and coach Charli Turner Thorne. Turner Thorne has the Sun Devils heading to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in nearly a decade. She also just gave birth to her second son -- on Selection Sunday. Thanks to the top defense in the Pac-10 and a balanced offense, Arizona State has its first 20-win season since 1992, the last time it went to the NCAAs. Offensively, Amanda Levens, Melody Johnson and Betsy Boardman all score in double figures. Washington, Arizona State and Stanford all tied for the Pac-10 title with 12-6 records, but by virtue of a tiebreaker Stanford earns the conference's NCAA Tournament automatic berth.Player to WatchAmanda Levens, a junior guard, is a deadly outside shooter. She's hitting more than 43 percent from behind the arc and just set the Arizona State record for most 3-pointers attempted in a season. Roster NO.
