Overview
A couple late-season losses shouldn't detract from the Boilermakers' chances of making plenty of postseason noise for coach Kristy Curry. A shocking upset at home to Oklahoma last season in the second round also should have them ready to make amends this March. Big Ten Player of the Year Katie Douglas is a versatile talent who can play on the low block or shoot the 3. Camille Cooper is one of the top centers in the country, shooting 61 percent from the field. The rookie trio of Erika Valek, Shereka Wright and Shalicia Hurns has been an integral part of Purdue's success.

Player to Watch
Left-handed Katie Douglas does it all for the Boilers, dating back to the 1999 NCAA title game when, as as sophomore starter, she tallied 13 points and seven rebounds. This season, the 6-foot-1 senior guard/forward led Purdue with 14.8 points, 3.5 assists and 2.6 steals in 31.0 minutes per game. Over the last five games, she is averaging 21.6 points and 5.0 rebounds. Douglas, a 2000 Kodak All-American, is the only Purdue player to rank in the top 10 all-time in points (third), rebounds (eighth), assists (fourth), steals (second) and blocked shots (ninth, tied)
