Duke holds 2-1 lead over Maryland this season

BOSTON -- For the fourth time this season, Duke and Maryland will meet on Tuesday. This time, though, the winner will emerge with its first national championship. Until then, here's a quick look at this season's series, which Duke leads 2-1, though Maryland won their last matchup -- on what will be exactly a month ago come Tuesday -- to snap a 14-game skid against the Blue Devils.

Overall, the two programs have played 61 times, with the Terps taking a 32-29 edge into the national championship game (ESPN, 8:30 p.m. ET). Duke, however, has won 17 of their last 19 contests, including three victories over Maryland last season. Duke's Monique Currie is averaging 22.3 points against the Terps this season, while Maryland star Crystal Langhorne is averaging 13 points and 5.3 rebounds in the series.
