Hill-MacDonald was assistant at South Carolina

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Linda Hill-MacDonald was hired Thursday as
the women's basketball coach at the University of Buffalo.

Hill-MacDonald spent four of the past five seasons as an
assistant at South Carolina and was previously a head coach at
Temple and Minnesota. She also spent three seasons as head coach of
the WNBA's Cleveland Rockers and a year as an assistant with the
Washington Mystics.

She replaces Cheryl Dozier, who was dismissed in March after a
4-24 season.
