CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- UNLV senior forward Sherry McCracklin was released from a Laramie hospital Monday, two days after suffering a concussion in a game against Wyoming.
UNLV sports information director Mark Wasik said the team's head coach, Regina Miller, and a student trainer had stayed in Wyoming with McCracklin.
The group planned to return to Las Vegas on Monday afternoon.
McCracklin hit her head on the floor after taking a charge with just under four minutes left in Saturday's game. She got up and walked a few feet before she collapsed, unconscious. Within a few minutes she started having a seizure and was taken to Ivinson Memorial Hospital, where she regained consciousness.
McCracklin spent Saturday and Sunday night in the hospital under observation.
Wasik said the team would have to observe McCracklin this week to determine when she could play again.
McCracklin, of Hazel Crest, Ill., scored 17 points in the game, which Wyoming won 53-50.
