Connecticut's status as the premier women's team in the nation continues, with the Huskies again receiving all 31 first-place votes in this week's ESPN/USA Today top 25 coaches poll.
UConn, which has won 84 straight games -- an NCAA women's basketball record -- are 6-0 this season. The past three games, the Huskies beat their opponents by an average of 44 points.
The biggest movement was Tennessee (6-1), which lost Saturday to Georgetown, 69-58. The Lady Vols, ranked No. 4 last week, dropped to No. 8.
Baylor and Stanford remained second and third, and Xavier and
Duke each moved up a spot.
Georgia slid to No. 22 this week after losing to Southern California.
