Vitals: 6-2 sophomore forward/center
2000-2001 stats:Scored 19 points in Friday's first-round victory over Penn. The second-team All-Big 12 pick leads the Lady Raiders in scoring with 14.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. In 30 games, also has blocked 41 shots and made 38 steals while shooting 49.2 percent from the field (157-for-319). Notched three straight double-doubles (including two against top 25 teams) during the end of February.
Career stats: Was named Big 12 Conference Freshman of the Year in 2000. Named to the 2000 NCAA Mideast Regional All-Tournament team. As a freshman, scored in double figures in 25 games and was the team's second leading scorer (13.6) and rebounder (6.9).

9 How did you get started playing basketball?
I just wanted to prove to guys that girls could play just as good as them.
10 What's your favorite pre-game meal?
Buffalo wings or spaghetti and chicken.
11 What's your favorite junk food?
Strawberry cheesecake.
12 If you could invite any three people (dead or alive) to dinner, who would they be?
Jesus Christ, Maya Angelou.
13 If you were stuck on a deserted island, what's the only thing you'd take with you?
My Bible.
14 What is the one thing you can't get through the day without?
The Lord.

Sanaa Lathan, the girl who played Monica in Love and Basketball.

My second toe is the longest and I have extremely large hands.

A hand model.

There wouldn't be as many television timeouts.*
19 What are your plans after graduation?
Extend my basketball career and go to the next level (WNBA).*

Always fight through obstacles because in the long run they will make you a better person.*
