The country's top frontcourts

By Beth Mowins
Special to ESPN.com

Our take on the country's top five frontcourts:

Connecticut
Swin Cash, Asjha Jones and Tamika Williams are mobile, high-jumping, tenacious rebounders who can run the floor.

Michelle Snow
Michelle Snow, right, and Chantelle Anderson help make up two of the nation's top frontcourts.
Vanderbilt
Chantelle Anderson, Zuzi Klimesova and Jenni Benningfield all return from last season, bring back a combined 46 points and 21 rebounds per game.

Tennessee
The Lady Vols will be even better when Ashley Robinson returns after the new year, but until then, Gwen Jackson and Michelle Snow can hold down the fort.

N.C. State
A healthy Kaayla Chones and rookie Kelly Greathouse join rugged Carisse Moody and rangy Ade Olanrewaju to pound opponents in the paint.

Georgia
Tawana McDonald and Christi Thomas are joined by Ebony Felder and Kara Braxton. Opponents who can match that size are all in the WNBA.

ESPN play-by-play announcer Beth Mowins will contribute a bi-weekly women's college basketball feature throughout the season.
