Steven Matz may have only six games in the major leagues on his resume, but he does have championship-clinching experience. In fact, Matz started his team’s clincher each of the last two postseasons in the minors. He took a no-hitter into the eighth inning in Double-A Binghamton's Eastern League championship clincher in 2014. Matz opposes Clayton Kershaw in Game 4 on Tuesday night at Citi Field. Kershaw will make his third career postseason start on three days’ rest. He went 0-1 with a 2.24 ERA in the previous two, while throwing 102 and 91 pitches. He went six innings each time.

Here is the AccuWeather forecast for Game 4 of the NLDS between the Mets and Dodgers on Tuesday at 8:07 p.m. at Citi Field: There will be some showers in the area this afternoon through 7 p.m. These will be light and most likely will not impact pregame activities. If showers linger through 8-9 p.m., they are not expected to be heavy enough to cause a delay. The wind during the game will blow out toward right field at 7-14 mph. The temperature at first pitch will be a mild 66 degrees, then fall only slightly to 63 by the end of the game.

The retiring Steve Spurrier didn't last long in the NFL, but it was long enough to create bad blood with the Jets. In 2003, the Redskins were dubbed the "Jetskins" after signing 4 of their free agents, including Laveranues Coles. Spurrier and Jets assistant Mike Westhoff had a heated exchange at a Miami restaurant when Spurrier bragged he was going to steal more free agents from New York.
