Carmelo Anthony plans to use the All Star break to rehab his sore left knee. He will have a daily routine in Toronto and will continue that routine in New York. The Knicks have nine days between games and Anthony hopes to significantly relieve the knee soreness in that span.

One turning point for this Knicks season was on Jan. 12, when Carmelo Anthony ran into a referee accidentally and sprained his ankle. He's missed five of 15 games since and the Knicks have done 3-12 in that span. They've fired their head coach, in part, because of the struggles in that stretch.

Yankees to honor Rivera with plaque

Mariano Rivera's No. 42 was already retired in 2013, after the number was retired throughout MLB in 1997 in honor of Jackie Robinson. So the Yankees will dedicate a plaque to the all-time saves leader at Monument Park on Aug. 14 before a game against the Rays.
