ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Andy Pettitte's scheduled start on Sunday is enough to have the Empire State Yankees switch venues for what could be the veteran left-hander's final minor league tuneup.

The Triple-A Yankees' game against Pawtucket originally set to be played at Batavia will now be played at nearby Rochester. The change was made to accommodate Pettitte, according to a news release issued Thursday.

The minor league Yankees are making western New York their base this season while a new stadium is being built at their home in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Pa. They're playing a majority of their home games at Rochester's Frontier Field, home of the Triple-A Red Wings.

The switch means the Red Wings' scheduled home game against Buffalo on Sunday has been moved to Saturday as part of a doubleheader.
