NEW YORK -- Brooklyn Nets small forward Gerald Wallace was listed as day to day after spraining his left ankle late in the fourth quarter of his team's 107-100 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Saturday night.

X-rays on Wallace's ankle were negative.

Wallace suffered the injury with 27.7 seconds left after trying to block a layup attempt by Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry. Wallace landed on Lowry's foot as the two went to the ground.

Wallace attempted to stay in the game, but limped off the court and headed into the locker room.

In 30 minutes, Wallace finished with 10 points, six rebounds and four assists.

The 30-year-old veteran signed a four-year, $40 million contract to remain with the Nets in the offseason.
