He already has a weather forecast -- "perfect weather, a balmy 40 degrees."
And he has a score. Actually, he has two scores.
At a pep rally held in Times Square to celebrate the 2014 Super Bowl bid, Bloomberg boasted, "This Super Bowl, number 48, 2014, I predict will be the New York Jets and the New York Giants. And the final score in overtime will be 34-31. I wish I could tell you who [wins] but I am running out of time."
But in an interview with NFL Network, Bloomberg made a different prediction.
"It's going to be a great game," Bloomberg said. "And my prediction is it's going to be the Jets versus the Giants and it's going to be decided by one point."
At least the mayor can be assured of one thing if both the Giants and Jets face each other in the Super Bowl played at the New Meadowlands Stadium.
"New York's going to win," Bloomberg declared.
