Dolphins starting safety Chris Clemons (hamstring) was inactive, and was replaced by Reshad Jones.

New York's inactives were: defensive backs Donald Strickland and Isaiah Trufant, wide receiver Logan Payne, running back Bilal Powell, center Colin Baxter and defensive end Ropati Pitoitua.

Inactive for Miami were: running back Steve Slaton, defensive end Phillip Merling, linebacker Ikaika Alama-Francis, tight end Will Yeatman and offensive linemen Will Barker and Ryan Cook.

The Jets beat the Dolphins 24-6.
