Coach Rex Ryan expects DeVito to play Sunday against the Eagles.
Marquice Cole was stretched on the sideline. He said he was kicked in the leg during the Jets' 37-10 win over the Chiefs on Sunday. He missed some time but returned to that game.
Also absent was Brandon Moore, who played against the Chiefs with a hip injury. Ryan said the right guard would be managed each week going forward, and missing Wednesday practices would be part of that.
There was a new addition on the field in safety Gerald Alexander, who has been brought in to add depth to a group that will miss Jim Leonhard, injured in Sunday's win. Brodney Pool will take over Leonhard's starting spot, but Ryan mentioned that they would look to add pieces.
Running back Joe McKnight, the league's leading kickoff returner, was a full participant Wednesday after sitting out Sunday with a hyperextended right elbow.
