Bradshaw said he popped a cyst on his right hand after hitting a helmet and that he did not suffer anything more serious.
"I had a cyst on it before," Bradshaw said. "It's nothing serious. It's just a precaution."
"I've had it for a while," he added. "We didn't know what to do with it. It's still there and then on one of the runs I hit it on someone's helmet and it just popped. There was a little pain in it. It feels good. We're just being precautious about it."
Bradshaw wasn't the only Giant who had to leave the game because of injury.
Third-round pick Jayron Hosley was in a protective walking boot on his right foot after the game. The promising rookie had a 77-yard interception touchdown return off Mark Sanchez in the second quarter. He will undergo further tests on Sunday.
"I couldn't really tell you right now," Hosley said of how or when he hurt his foot. "A little something in there. I just need to get some more tests on it."
The Giants can't afford to lose Bradshaw, their most experienced and productive running back.
They are trying to find someone to replace Brandon Jacobs to back up Bradshaw.
Bradshaw played on one offensive series and gained two yards on three carries. He went back to the locker room to have his hand X-rayed and later emerged out of the locker room and had his hand examined by team doctors on the sideline.
"We did an X-ray and everything is good," Bradshaw said. "No bones broken. I'll be alright."
