There's nothing "illegal" about the Patriots' offense. New England is ahead of the curve and perhaps providing a glimpse into the future of a scheme and tempo that more teams eventually will use, James Walker writes.
If the Jets are to upset the Patriots, they'll have to cool down Wes Welker. The receiver has double-digit receptions in consecutive games for the third time in his career. Welker ranks second in the league in receptions (48) and receiving yards (622) and his 40 catches since Week 3 are nine more than any other player.
