Four people were charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct for their roles in a fight that took place at MetLife Stadium following the New York Jets' 30-27 overtime victory over the New England Patriots.

Kurt Paschke, 38, of Holbrook, N.Y.; Amanda MacDowell, 25, of Marlborough, Mass.; Jaclyn Nugent, 26, of Boston; and David James Sacco, 28, of Boston, will have to appear in East Rutherford (N.J.) Municipal Court as a result of the charges.

Paschke was involved in a verbal and physical altercation with MacDowell, Nugent and Sacco on the 100-level concourse at approximately 4:30 p.m.

According to a press release issued by the New Jersey State police, MacDowell and Nugent were observed kicking and punching Paschke in the body and head. Paschke responded by punching Nugent in the face. Sacco then struck Paschke in the face.

"We have zero tolerance for this behavior. Consistent with our fan code of conduct, those involved have been banned from attending any events at the stadium," the Jets said in a statement. "Once the legal process has run its course, each of them must take the necessary steps before even being considered for readmission to future events."

According to the statement issued by the team, any person banned from MetLife Stadium events may be considered for re-admittance upon completion of an online conduct course, the submission of a written apology and a request for permission to be allowed to attend events at the stadium.

The incident was recorded in a 36-second video that soon went viral.

It's not the first incident for Paschke, who was convicted of criminally negligent homicide and sentenced to nearly four years in prison for killing Henri Ferrer, 17, during a fight outside a pizzeria in 1992, the New York Post reported.
