Sproles left Sunday's game against the New York Jets in the first half.

In other injury news, tight end Jimmy Graham was held out of team drills with foot and elbow injuries -- though he played through both during the second half of the 26-20 loss to the Jets. Graham has also shown his ability to fight through the pain of his foot injury -- a partially torn plantar fascia --- over the past two games. He has two touchdown catches in each of those games.

Receiver Marques Colston also was back practicing on a limited basis after missing last Sunday's game with a knee injury.

Guard Jahri Evans (hip), defensive end Cameron Jordan (ankle), safety Malcolm Jenkins (knee) and linebacker David Hawthorne (toe) were held out of Wednesday's practice.

New Orleans (6-2) hosts the Dallas Cowboys (5-4) on Sunday night.
