NEWARK, N.J. -- New York Rangers forward Brandon Dubinsky left Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Devils with a hand injury after a fight with New Jersey center Ryan Carter.

The 25-year-old Dubinsky fought Carter 3:03 into play and did not return.

Dubinsky was benched last week after taking a costly penalty in the Rangers' 3-2 win over Carolina on Thursday, but redeemed himself with a game-tying goal against Tampa Bay on Friday.

He has seven goals, 19 assists and six fighting majors this season.
