NEWARK, N.J. -- Flyers center Sean Couturier was in the lineup for Game 4 of Philadelphia's Eastern Conference semifinals against the New Jersey Devils on Sunday night.

Couturier, who has a leg injury, warmed up on a line with Maxime Talbot and Eric Wellwood.

Couturier did not participate in Wednesday's practice but skated Sunday morning and said he felt better.

"Like I said, we'll see (Sunday night), but I'm ready to go," Couturier said Sunday morning.

The 19-year-old suffered the injury in the first period of the Flyers' 4-3 overtime loss to the Devils in Game 3 after getting tangled up in the corner with New Jersey winger David Clarkson.

"I wanted to come back into the game, I just couldn't," Couturier said earlier.

Couturier sees the majority of his ice time against the Devils' top line of Zach Parise, Patrik Elias and Clarkson.

In nine playoff games, he's recorded three goals and one assist.

Flyers coach Peter Laviolette said defenseman Andrej Meszaros (back injury) skated well in the morning, but general manager Paul Holmgren told reporters earlier that he would not play.

Meszaros, who had to undergo surgery on his back, hasn't played since March 1.

Devils left winger Ryan Carter is sick and did not play. He was replaced on the fourth line by Tim Sestito.
