NEW YORK -- Americans Meb Keflezighi, Kara Goucher and Desiree Davila will run a half-marathon in New York City next month as they prepare for the Olympic marathon this summer in London.

The elite field for the March 18 NYC Half was announced Thursday.

Keflezighi is the 2009 NYC Marathon champ and won a silver medal at the 2004 Athens Games. His competition over 13.1 miles will include two-time Olympian Dathan Ritzenhein, who narrowly missed qualifying for London at January's U.S. marathon trials, which Keflezighi won. Ritzenhein will now try to make the Olympics in the 10,000 meters.

Davila was second and Goucher third in the women's race at trials to qualify for London. Davila was the runner-up at the 2011 Boston Marathon, while Goucher was third at the 2008 NYC Marathon.
