GIANTS 24, BILLS 10 (FINAL): The Giants played tough run defense, took advantage of 17(!!!) Bills penalties and held their double-digit fourth-quarter lead for the second week in a row. A tough road win like this gives the Giants and their fans reason to believe they really can work out their issues and make a run if the Cowboys' injuries open up the NFC East.

  • BUF: T. Taylor: 24-35, 219 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

Game 162 = celebration time for Mets fans

There's nothing on the line for the NL East champs on the final day, but fans were likely relieved at Curtis Granderson's first-inning single to end any chance of being no-hit in back-to-back games. Follow live

We have 15 baseball games, I'm, kicking off right now. And 7 of them will determine the shape of the postseason. Can't wait.

Jets injury update: David Harris (quad) "should be OK," Todd Bowles said. Leonard Williams has a sprained ankle, Calvin Pryor a knee bruise and Bilal Powell a pulled groin. They don't seem overly concerned about any of the injuries. Naturally, the bye week will help a lot.

GIANTS 16, BILLS 3 (HALFTIME): The Giants look as good as they've looked all year, dominating on both lines, winning the time of possession battle 17:08-12:52, outrushing the Bills 64-42 and taking advantage of nine Buffalo penalties to take a big halftime lead. If they can continue to run the ball effectively in the second half, they should get out of here with a 2-2 record.
