Plenty of Knicks fans are wondering why the team won't call up guard Jimmer Fredette in the wake of his strong performance (game-record 35 points) in the D League All Star game. It seems like they have a good opportunity to take give Fredette an opportunity now. But New York has thus far opted against using its open roster spot to sign the former BYU star. Last month, the Knicks signed fellow Westchester Knick Thanasis Antetokounmpo instead of Fredette due to injuries at the wing position. The Knicks could now use help in the backcourt, so it will be interesting to see if they turn to Fredette in the coming days.
