Matt Barnes says Derek Fisher's firing "don't matter to me." The Grizzlies forward, who says the picture he posted on social media after the firing had nothing to do with Fisher, was serenaded to "Fisher" chants toward the end of Memphis' 109-90 win over Brooklyn. "I hear it every game," Barnes said. "Everyone has time to say (something) when they're protected and then they don't have the balls to say it to your face so all you can do is laugh."

Yankees have No. 13 farm system in 2016

Fortunately, the Yankees swapped quantity instead of quality in the deal that brought Aroldis Chapman to New York. A strong 2015 draft also helps the Yankees' system jump from No. 20 to No. 13. Ranking all 30 farm systems (Insider)

Impending free agent Grizzlies PG Mike Conley on the Nets firing his former coach Lionel Hollins and it potentially impacting his decision to possibly sign with Brooklyn over the summer: "It's tough but at the same time like I said I'll give everybody their fair shot. Lionel being here obviously was a big reason to look (at Brooklyn) but still at the same time with him gone I'll give everybody the same look." The Nets have an obvious need at PG and could go into free agency with around $40 million in cap space.
