Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, who made his 100th career start yesterday, saved the game ball and plans to display it in his trophy case. He knew he was close to 100; he was reminded in a pre-game text from his dad. "Being a seventh-round pick, being a guy who wasn't really recruited to play college football, it's been a pretty cool ride," he said. He'd rather not be reminded of his record: 39-60-1.

Predictably, the Jets defended Calvin Pryor, who was accused by Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill of celebrating an injury to WR Rishard Matthews. Tannehill called it a "classless move." Jets CB Antonio Cromartie said: "That's his opinion. We were celebrating the kind of hit it was. It was a big hit and it set the tone early in the game. We don't wish any injury on anybody." Coach Todd Bowles expressed the same sentiment.

Referees missed 1 call against the Knicks and 5 against Houston in the final 7 minutes of play last night, the NBA announces. The missed calls against Houston included a double dribble and three fouls that were not called. The Knicks lost to Houston by five points in overtime. The league reviews calls in the final two minutes and overtime of games that are within five points or less. The reviews state which calls referees got right and which calls they missed late in those situations.
