Yankees GM Brian Cashman said it is his "responsibility" for his last place team's poor start more than manager Joe Girardi or his staff because he put the roster together. Cashman said that he would not represent how owner Hal Steinbrenner feels at the moment, but added Steinbrenner is "clearly not happy." The Yankees are 8-15 as they head into tonight's first pitch against the Orioles.

Carmelo Anthony previously said he planned to play in the Olympics this summer. Now, it sounds as if he's uncertain: "I would like to, but there's other things that come in. There's the time commitment, the load it puts on your body, going to Brazil—there's a lot of safety things that's going on," he said in an interview with Complex.com. "I'm pretty sure sooner than later the USA people would like to know, but I didn't feel like it was a rush. This is the time I distance myself from basketball and try and get some clarity and new energy."

The Jets "strongly considered" trading out of the first round in a proposed deal with the Cowboys, per GM Mike Maccagnan. The Cowboys (at 34) tried to get into the 20s to pick Paxton Lynch. They called the Jets (20), who opted to stand pat and took LB Darron Lee. (via WFAN).

If the Jets carry four QBs in Week 1, as GM Mike Maccagnan suggests, they'd be the first team since 2013 to do so, according to ESPN Stats & Info. That year, the Redskins had four true QBs. The Vikings had three plus Joe Webb, a QB-turned-receiver. Believe it or not, there was one team that carried four QBs four times in the 2000s. That team? The Jets. They last did it in '09 -- Mark Sanchez, Kellen Clemens, Erik Ainge and Kevin O'Connell.

Jets GM Mike Maccagnan said the organization has discussed the possibility of going into the regular season with four quarterbacks. "We like the idea of having (Ryan Fitzpatrick), in a perfect world, back here in the organization with Geno (Smith) and our two young quarterbacks" -- Bryce Petty and Christian Hackenberg. What else can he say at this point? It's good business to say he wants to keep them all. Fitzpatrick remains unsigned (Via WFAN).

Inside the NHL: Islanders and Lightning, who's looking better? (3:07)

The Islanders posted a 25-11-5 record on home ice during the regular season and a 2-1 mark already in the playoffs. With Game 3 of their second-round series against the Lightning Tuesday night at Barclays Center, New York is expected a great atmosphere. "The energy is going to be off the charts in this building like it has been the first three games of the playoffs," said Islanders' Kyle Okposo. "We're looking forward to it. You've just got to use that energy in a positive way and you can't be running around out of position, but at the same time you've got to be finishing your hits, playing with energy, playing with urgency and playing desperate out there."
