Kristaps Porzingis has plenty of respect for Jahlil Okafor: "I think his post game is really at a high level. He knows how to use his body very well. So you've got to be careful with him. He's the most dangerous player on their team.... so we've got to pay close attention." Porzingis won't defend Okafor at the start of Wednesday's game but will likely match up with him at some point.

Robin Lopez will start out guarding Jahlil Okafor on Tuesday. Should be an interesting assignment for the center. "He's definitely a throwback big in terms of his ability on the offensive end and how capable he is with the ball," Derek Fisher says. On Tuesday, Lopez took some time to participate in GivingTuesday. The center visited a hospital in New York City and a local Ronald McDonald House.

Derek Fisher isn't worried that the Knicks will overlook the Sixers Wednesday: "I don't think our group is there yet, honestly. I could be wrong. But we were 2 or 3 games different than the Sixers last year. So I don't think that 18 games into a regular season because we won 8 times that we could think that we're better than anybody to be honest."

Carmelo Anthony recalled Tuesday that Kobe Bryant was pushing for him to be traded to the Lakers in 2011: "He wanted it to happen. I dont know who was going to be part of that deal," Anthony says. "There was a lot of talk of (Andrew) Bynum, Lamar Odom and Nene. There was a lot of talk during that time. For some reason I was always connected with the Lakers maybe it was just Kobe behind closed doors."

James Dolan spoke about the Knicks & Rangers at the announcement of the Garden of Dreams Foundation's donation of a gymnasium at a youth center in Queens. Of the Knicks' start, Dolan said, "I am encouraged but I'm mostly encouraged because Phil Jackson is in charge and I think he's doing a great job and I think he's going to bring us a winner. On Kristaps Porzingis, Dolan said, "Kristaps has already shown us that he's ready to play on New York and ready to be a New Yorker." The owner rarely speaks publicly, but he was on hand to unveil a new gym at the SCO Family of Services Residential Facility in Queens. The Garden of Dreams Foundation donated $230,000 to refurbish the gym.

James Dolan hopes that the Garden of Dreams Foundation's new gym can enhance the lives of the approximately 50 students at the SCO Family of Services Residential Center. "You can make the biggest impact for someone when they're young," he says.

Build around Brook Lopez

Considering how well he's been playing lately (scoring over 41 fantasy points per game in his last three games), Lopez is a bargain player that is expected to fare well against a Phoenix team likely playing without Tyson Chandler. DFS building blocks
