Mets manager Terry Collins said that Yoenis Cespedes and Jose Reyes are each expected to play in both games of today's doubleheader, barring any signs of fatigue. Cespedes has had no issues since returning from his quad injury. Collins also said lefty Josh Smoker will be the team's 26th man for Game 2 of the doubleheader "if he gets here." Smoker has a 4.73 ERA, but has 67 strikeouts in 45 2/3 innings with Triple-A Las Vegas. As for the impact of yesterday's rainout on the starting rotation, Collins said picking a starter for Saturday has not been discussed.

I was in shock. I even lost a little bit of weight just because of the anxiety of going through the process, not knowing where I was going to be. I mean, I was almost 100 percent sure I was going to end up in Brooklyn. But it's just an incredible feeling and I'm excited to get back to work."

Who will the Jets start at quarterback?

Is it really a QB battle if one of the two isn't even on the roster? Well, yes, at least until Ryan Fitzpatrick's future is set. John Clayton doesn't expect Geno Smith to hold off Fitzpatrick if the latter re-signs in New York. QB battles
