Former Yankees pitcher Andy Pettitte will represent the team at this year's MLB draft. Pettitte spent 15 of his 18 years in the majors with New York and had his No. 46 retired by the club last year.

Franco to rep Mets at draft

Former Mets closer John Franco will represent the team at this year's MLB draft. Franco spent 14 of his 21 years in the majors with New York and was named to the NL All-Star team in his first year with the club in 1990.

The Mets have "some curiosity" about first baseman James Loney, according to the Post's Joel Sherman. He can opt out with the Padres' Triple-A affiliate for a major league gig. Sherman suggests the Mets are not interested in Nick Swisher, who has a similar arrangement with the Yankees while playing in the minors.
