Noah Syndergaard insisted the pitch was not on purpose. Terry Collins concerned about discipline from league. Collins said he told pitchers in LA earlier this month not to do anything that might draw retaliation and get Mets batters hurt. Collins didn't even mention it before this series and said umpires didn't even know about history until after this series began.
