Brook Lopez (ankle) out vs. Bobcats

Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez will miss his third straight game Wednesday night, against the Charlotte Bobcats, because of a sprained left ankle, the team announced.

Lopez suffered the injury when he got tangled up with teammate Kevin Garnett in Saturday night's game against the Phoenix Suns.

In eight games, Lopez is averaging 20.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.8 blocks. The 25-year-old ranks fourth in the NBA in Player Efficiency Rating (27.77) and seventh in the league ...
