Jay Z company followed rules

The reported $240 million deal Jay Z landed for free-agent second baseman Robinson Cano on Friday was just the first good news of the day for the rapper/agent.

The NFLPA has determined that Jay Z's sports management company, Roc Nation Sports, followed the rules and legally recruited quarterback Geno Smith as a client last spring, per an official familiar with the case.
