Giants won't retain Mike Pope

The hiring of Ben McAdoo as their new offensive coordinator was only the beginning of a shakeup of the New York Giants' offensive coaching staff.

In a surprise move, tight ends coach Mike Pope will not return to the Giants' staff in 2014, the team announced Wednesday.

Running backs coach Jerald Ingram also will not be retained, the Giants said in a release.
