Jason Brickman earns 1,000th assist

NEW YORK -- LIU Brooklyn guard Jason Brickman recorded career assist No. 1,000 on Saturday, becoming only the fourth player in Division I history to accomplish that feat.

Brickman reached the milestone in the final game of his college career, with 8:33 remaining in the first half against Bryant, on a pass to Gerrell Martin for a 3-pointer.
