Martin Brodeur: It's a 'private matter'

NEWARK, N.J. -- Martin Brodeur said he has not been asked to waive his no-trade clause yet. But with Wednesday's 3 p.m. ET NHL trade deadline looming, the New Jersey Devils goaltender's future remains unclear.

Canada's TSN, however, reported Monday night that Brodeur has submitted a list to general manager Lou Lamoriello of eight-to-nine teams he'd waive his no-trade clause to go to.
