David Wright (shoulder) makes return

NEW YORK -- Even after a full week (and then another day) out of the Mets lineup, David Wright never said that his left shoulder is back to 100 percent.

He did say he feels good enough to play, and proved it well enough Saturday night, going 1 for 4 in his return to the lineup for the Mets' 5-3 loss to the Texas Rangers.

"There was no discomfort," manager Terry Collins said after watching closely while Wright took ground balls before batting practice began Saturday. "No anxiety."
