Jets' Dee Milliner injures ankle

CORTLAND, N.Y. -- The New York Jets' already suspect cornerback position took a double hit Sunday, with top corner Dee Milliner and rookie Dexter McDougle leaving practice with ankle and knee injuries, respectively.

Milliner suffered a high ankle sprain, according to a league source. He's expected to miss a few weeks, meaning his availability for the regular-season opener is in jeopardy.

McDougle will be lost for the season, as he tore the ACL in his left knee, the team announced.
