Isles' Comeau leaves with injury

UNIONDALE, N.Y. -- New York Islanders forward Blake Comeau was knocked out of Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win against the Montreal Canadiens with a foot injury.

Comeau, who gave New York a 1-0 lead 12:29 into Tuesday night's game, played five shifts that totaled 2:34 of ice time -- all in the first period. He is expected to be re-evaluated on Wednesday.

Comeau has five goals and two assists in the past four games.
