Mets, Sandy Alderson to meet again

Sandy Alderson, the front-runner in the New York Mets' search for a general manager, will meet with team executives for the second time Thursday.

Sources had told ESPN The Magazine's Buster Olney on Sunday that Alderson would be invited back for another interview.

Alderson, who is currently assisting Major League Baseball in addressing Latin American issues, interviewed with chief operating officer Jeff Wilpon and acting GM John Ricco last week.
