Jerricho Cotchery, Dwight Lowery out

The New York Jets made it official late Wednesday, announcing that wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery won't play Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Cotchery suffered a partial groin tear two weeks ago and has yet to return to practice, but the rest may allow him to play in the biggest game of the season, Dec. 6 at the New England Patriots.
