Giants hope for Bears win on Sunday

Leave it to the Philadelphia Eagles to deliver another potential blow to the Giants' fading postseason hopes.

With the Eagles' surprising loss to the Minnesota Vikings Tuesday night at home, the Chicago Bears (11-4) might not have much to play for on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.

The Eagles' 24-14 loss clinched at least the No. 2 seed for the Bears, who now have a first-round bye. Had the Eagles won, the Bears would have needed to beat the Packers for that bye.
