Sources: Yanks after Andruw Jones

Looking for some outfield depth, the New York Yankees are the leading candidate to land free agent Andruw Jones, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Buster Olney on Monday.

Their AL East rival, the Tampa Bay Rays, are also in the running after losing free agent Carl Crawford to the Boston Red Sox this offseason.

There has been speculation that the Yankees could bring back another Scott Boras client, Johnny Damon, but New York appears more interested in Jones' defensive versatility ...
