Dwight Hardy on All-Big East first team

NEW YORK -- St. John's guard Dwight Hardy has been named to the All-Big East first team, the conference announced Sunday.

The 6-foot-2 senior from the Bronx finished the regular season averaging 17.9 points per game, fourth in the conference, and led the Red Storm to a tie for third place with Louisville and Syracuse -- St. John's best finish in the league since its third place showing in 2002.
